About Jennifer Peltzer-Jones

Dr. Jennifer Peltzer-Jones has been the Senior Staff Psychologist in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital for the last 14 years. Dr. Peltzer-Jones’ primary responsibility is to provide clinical care and  operational oversight for psychiatric crisis management. She is involved in a wide variety of projects and committees at the hospital and state level. Her passion projects include management of frequent ED users, decreasing workplace violence, and implementing State Wide, standardized Medical Clearance protocols. Prior to completing her Doctorate in Psychology, Dr. Peltzer-Jones worked as a psychiatric registered nurse in specialized Psych ER settings and inpatient psychiatric units. She is currently the Chair of the Integrated Care Committee for the Michigan Psychological Association and a member of the American Association of Emergency Psychiatry.
